Antonio specialises in Information Technology and Intellectual Property law and, more in general, his expertise extends to the legal matters related to technology issues.

He is a member of the Tech, Media and Comms team in Italy.

He advises on consumer law, IT, regulatory and data protection issues for Italian and foreign clients, operating in a wide variety of industry sectors, from traditional business to the most innovative companies.

Antonio advises businesses on the main regulatory aspects related to media and platforms (with a focus on intermediaries' liability), e-commerce, eHealth, artificial intelligence, copyright law and advertising law. Brigitte Lutz works at the Chief Executive Office of the City of Vienna. In her employment history she is ICT expert for various fields, project manager, senior process manager (SPcM) and e-government expert. She is the Data Governance Coordinator of the City of Vienna and since 2010 responsible for the coordination of the Open Government Data activities of the City of Vienna. Other key tasks include data analytics and e-government building blocks and services.
As patron of She.Digital Vienna, she is passionate about her favourite topic - the promotion of girls and women in the IT sector.
Brigitte Lutz is member of the Management Board of the Gaia-X Hub Austria and a founding member and currently the spokesperson of Cooperation Open Government Data (OGD) Austria and responsible for national and international cooperation in this field.

Eduardo Martins Guerra

Eduardo Guerra is a Researcher at the Free University of Bozen-Bolzano, Italy. He worked for seven years at the Spacial Institute for Space Research (INPE) in Brazil, reaching the senior researcher level. Before that, he also acted as a teacher at the Instituto Tecnologico de Aeronáutica (ITA), which is known as one of the best engineering schools in the country. The focus of Eduardo Guerra’s research can be defined as “find better ways to develop software”, which includes patterns, programming approaches, and processes to be used by the development team. He considers the principles of Agile Software Development the core guidance of his research since they aim to improve software quality, optimize development time, and increase software adaptability. Test-driven development (TDD) was the core of several works that focused on test code refactoring, application of TDD for specific kinds of software, and teaching and evaluating the technique. Also, in the scope of programming techniques, metadata, and code annotations were the focus of several works that aimed to study them as an alternative to make the software more adaptable and improve the code quality.

Elias Lanbach, a seasoned product and project manager from Vienna, focuses on building decentralized data ecosystems and projects that aim to establish use cases in the data space realm. After earning a degree in economics from Leopold-Franzens University of Innsbruck, Elias began his career as a data analyst and project manager at Österreichischer Kommunal-Verlag. He later served as a data steward at DIO - Data Intelligence Offensive. Currently, he is a product manager at nexyo and leads the development of the nexyo DataHub, a software that aims to make data spaces available to a broad audience.

Fritz Fahringer

Fritz Fahringer has been working as a project manager at Standortagentur Tirol https://www.standort-tirol.at/ since June 2018. Since then, he has been supporting Standortagentur Tirol and its projects in the digital transformation.

Fritz Fahringer has been project manager of the "digital.tirol" regional initiative since 2022. This includes the flagship initiatives "Digitale Bildungsplattform" (https://dibi.tirol/) and the "datahub.tirol" https://www.datahub.tirol/ - the first EU-compliant regional data space in Europe.

He can look back on many years of experience both in the public RDI sector and in the corporate environment. As a consultant, he has successfully implemented new processes and solutions using new technologies along various value chains in various small and medium-sized enterprises in the DACH region. He is also member of the Advisory board of Gaia-X Austria Hub https://www.gaia-x.at/ and board member of the Data Intelligence Offensive (DIO) https://dataintelligence.at/.

Gianluigi Marino

Gianluigi represents a leading voice in the ambit of digital transformation – supporting both traditional businesses now facing the process of digitalisation, and the more disruptive models driving the change.

He is the Head of Digitalisation in Italy, Head of the Italian Tech, Media and Comms team and Data Protection practice. His legal experience includes privacy, intellectual property and technology law, both contentious and non-contentious.

Gianluigi assists clients through the digital transformation of business processes and the mitigation of risks associated with information security and information management.

He advises some of the major international companies on legal issues relating to privacy and personal data processing, information technology, cybersecurity, artificial intelligence, wearable technology, CRM, eHealth and telemedicine.

Furthermore, he has gained substantial experience in drafting and reviewing personal data protection compliance programmes and in providing assistance during and following Data Protection Authority raids.

Gianluigi also advises on media regulatory issues, platform regulation, e-commerce, producer guarantees and consumer rights, misleading advertising, prize promotions, commercial contracts, outsourcing, information technology, internet service providers’ liability, copyright and counterfeiting issues.

Before joining Meditech, Gianluigi launched QueryObject System, a disruptive data sharing technology that quickly emerged as one of the top Data Sharing solutions for Telco and Health industries in the United States and Europe.
During the 1990s, for 8 years, he was a researcher at the main research service of Meta Group in the United States. Before that, Gianluigi held executive roles in companies such as QueryObject Inc., Aeritalia Saipa, Olivetti OPE, Gartner Group, and Eureka Consortium. Gianluigi is an electronic engineer, formerly a Professor of Electronics and Systems.

Gregor Eibl

Dr. Gregor Eibl is a senior scientist specializing in the digital transformation of the public sector. Previously, he worked at the Austrian Federal Chancellery, where he led several projects that introduced cutting-edge technologies into the public sector, including the national electronic ID solution in the form of the mobile phone signature, the national electronic delivery service, and the Austrian Open Data Portal.
His current research focuses on electronic and emerging technologies in the public sector, such as deep learning in natural language processing or data-driven pattern analysis. He works in areas at the intersection of information systems and public administration, adopting a transdisciplinary approach to provide a comprehensive perspective on the integration of emerging technologies in the public sector.
His aim is to bridge the gap between academia and practice by combining his educational background with a doctorate in Business and Computer Science, his academic embedding and practical engagement with legal, public sector and business professionals.

Günther Tschabuschnig

Der in Kärnten aufgewachsene Tschabuschnig studierte Medizinische Informatik in Wien an der Technischen Universität sowie an der Medizinischen Universität. Es folgte ein Studium des Informationmanagements an diesen zwei Universitäten sowie Forschungsaufenthalte in Washington, Olmütz und Erlangen. An der Universität Bremen promoviert er zu Open Data bei Professor Herbert Kubicek.

Von 2009 bis 2015 war Günther Tschabuschnig im österreichischen Bundeskanzleramt und bei verschiedenen Organisationen als Berater im Bereich E-Government tätig. Seine Schwerpunkte lagen in Innovationsplanung und -management, Durchführung von IT-Projekten zu Themen des E-Government und E-Democracy (Open Government Data), sowie bei Kooperationen mit Verwaltung, Wissenschaft und Wirtschaft.

Von Oktober 2015 bis November 2021 leitete er als Chief Information Officer den IT-Bereich der Österreichischen Zentralanstalt für Meteorologie und Geodynamik mit einem großen Rechenzentrum. Danach ist Tschabuschnig für die Österreichische Datenstrategie und für die Umsetzung der Österreichischen Digitalisierungsstrategie zuständig.

Tschabuschnig ist Vorstandsmitglied der Austrian Digital Value (ADV) Wien und Präsident der Data Intelligence Offensive. Bei der Cooperation Open Government Data Austria war er als „Technology Evangelist“ tätig.

Leonardo Venturoso

Born on June 20, 1994, in Spilimbergo (PN). I have always been intrigued by the complexities of the human brain and the vast potential of data. My academic journey led me to pursue both a Bachelor's and a Master's degree in Neuroscience, laying a solid foundation for understanding cognitive processes and neural mechanisms. My thirst for knowledge didn't stop there. Recognizing the transformative power of data in the contemporary world, I furthered my education with a Master's degree in Data Science. This additional qualification allowed me to merge my neuroscience background with cutting-edge data analysis techniques. Professionally, I have channeled my expertise into the realm of artificial intelligence solutions and sustainable mobility, a field where data-driven insights can significantly contribute to environmental conservation and smarter urban planning. My career has been marked by significant roles such as a Data Science Intern at FBK (Fondazione Bruno Kessler) and at Almaviva SpA and Edizioni Erickson, where I harnessed the power of data to drive innovation and software solutions.
Currently I'm working as a Data Scientist at Fraunhofer Italia in the Bioeconomy and Sustainability team.

Michael Schäfer

Michael Schäfer has been Managing Director and CTO of Mobility Data Space (MDS) since January 2022. His colleague Dr. Tobias Miethaner is Speaker of the Management Board and Manfred Rauhmeier serves as Founding Managing Director. Mr. Rauhmeier is also Managing Director of acatech, the German Academy of Science and Engineering.

After the Mobility Data Space was successfully completed as a research project in 2021, it has been transferred to the DRM Datenraum Mobilität Ltd. in 2022 and has been given a new, scalable platform. Under the leadership of Michael Schäfer, this laid the foundation for the expansion of the innovative data marketplace. Since November 2022, he oversees the continuous development of the MDS together with Dr. Tobias Miethaner.

The qualified electrical engineer looks back on more than 30 years in the IT industry and brings experience in the areas of industrial automation, image processing, Internet of Things and Industry 4.0. During his career, he has managed numerous major international projects and most recently headed the "IIoT Application Factory" and "Business & IT Transformation" areas of the Global Competency Center at Software AG in Darmstadt.

Michael Schäfer wants to generate social benefits through his work at MDS, because "the Mobility Data Space creates the conditions for society and companies to develop the mobility of the future."

Mr. Schäfer is married and has three adult children. In his free time, he rides the mountain bike and skis. His dream is environmentally compatible and affordable lifetime mobility for everybody.

Nadia Scandelli

Nadia Scandelli received her M. Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico, Milan, Italy, in December 2004.
She has been working with CEFRIEL since February 2005 and currently holds the position of Head of Smart Industry Solutions (SIS) Unit.

Her primary responsibility is overseeing the Industry 4.0 research and innovation projects of Cefriel while coordinating a team of more than 20 person. Her expertise is focused on supporting companies in creating their manufacturing strategy and transformation plan as well as creating innovative IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions. In addition, she is a Project Manager for national and international projects, responsible for delivering inventive solutions from inception to completion.

Since 2017, she is a member of the scientific committee of A&T - Automation & Testing. Since 2019, she is a member of the Technical Scientific Committee of the "MADE" Competence Center and a member of the GTT3 Steering Committee, "Systems for the Valorization of people in Factories" within the "Intelligent Factory" National Cluster.
