Value chains have become extended and data is needed to improve processes, follow sustainability imperatives and foster innovation. Data Spaces constitute a key enabler, facilitating data sharing and ensuring data sovereignty. This presentation will bring clarity on what data spaces are, the state of the art and the opportunities that data spaces unlock.
Nadia Scandelli received her M. Sc. in Telecommunication Engineering from Politecnico, Milan, Italy, in December 2004.
She has been working with CEFRIEL since February 2005 and currently holds the position of Head of Smart Industry Solutions (SIS) Unit.
Her primary responsibility is overseeing the Industry 4.0 research and innovation projects of Cefriel while coordinating a team of more than 20 person. Her expertise is focused on supporting companies in creating their manufacturing strategy and transformation plan as well as creating innovative IoT and Industry 4.0 solutions. In addition, she is a Project Manager for national and international projects, responsible for delivering inventive solutions from inception to completion.
Since 2017, she is a member of the scientific committee of A&T - Automation & Testing. Since 2019, she is a member of the Technical Scientific Committee of the "MADE" Competence Center and a member of the GTT3 Steering Committee, "Systems for the Valorization of people in Factories" within the "Intelligent Factory" National Cluster.
