Open Education Day 2025 invites you to submit session proposals. Teachers, lecturers, associations, educational institutions, non-profit organisations, but also companies and public bodies are welcome to collaborate with us in shaping the program for this inspiring conference.

The motto of the Open Education Day 2025 is digital-inclusive. To assist you in selecting suitable topics, the following areas might be of interest:

General input

1. open education and (digital) inclusion
2. open educational resources, open content and open data
3. open manufacturing, making and open hardware
4. open source software applications
5. open source software school informatics / cloud

Higher Education / swissuniversities P-8 Projects (This track will be conducted in English)

1. cooperation, co-creation and re-use
2. inclusion / students perspectives, OER champions and best practices
3. open source tools, AI and technologies for open education
4. policies, strategies and infrastructure
5. impact analysis and research

In the 45-minute sessions you are free to give a presentation, do a practical workshop or choose a collaborative methodology - we want to set no limits to your ideas. The sessions will take place at the PHBern (Fabrikstrasse 8). You are welcome to draw inspiration from past Open Education Day 2024 topics: https://openeducationday.ch/programm-2024/.

The procedure at a glance

1. Enter your session online (+ profiles of the speaker(s)).
2. If your session is selected for the programme of this year's Open Education Day, your form submission will be published on our website as a description of your session. For this reason, we ask that you follow the steps in the form, provide all requested information and submit an entry with finalised text. (everything can be edited at a later date).
3. Selected sessions will be published at the beginning of March 2025. The programme committee will contact the specified contact persons for further steps or queries
