 he session\, we will introduce **PublicAI** as a transparent\, community-g
 overned alternative to proprietary systems\, focusing on Apertus\, the fir
 st fully open-source Swiss foundation model. Participants will see how ope
 n\, transparent AI can support open pedagogy\, digital inclusion\, and aca
 demic freedom\, while enabling educators and students to create\, adapt\, 
 and share educational content—without compromising data sovereignty or i
 nstitutional autonomy.\n\nThe second part is a hands-on workshop where par
 ticipants will use the **PublicAI API** to build a _Personalized Q&A Gener
 ator_ that transforms lecture materials into an adaptive learning experien
 ce.\n\n**Note:** The first part is suitable for both technical and non-tec
 hnical participants\, while the second is intended for participants with s
 ome technical experience.
