Session
BrightSign has been using OpenEmbedded for nearly fifteen years to build BrightSign OS. Developers use Bitbake every time they make a source code change in any component, including BrightSign's proprietary software. Recipes are used for every part of the release process. They are used to generate signed firmware update files for our customers as well as to generate the myriad of files required to manufacture BrightSign media players, managing all the dependencies between them. I'll talk about how we make that work by introducing three long-serving Bitbake classes written by BrightSign.
