DESCRIPTION:this talk presents the story of some (semi-related) side projec
ts that disappeared into\nthe freezer until the speaker (and the rest of t
he world) got slightly redpilled on the\nwhole agentic engineering thing.\
n\nin this talk we'll show you how a single engineer built a semi-autonomo
us system for\nautomatic vulnerability discovery and exploitation aimed at
networked (consumer) electronics\nin only a few months\, assisted by an u
nhealthy amount of vibemaxxing and caffeine.\n\neveryone can start claude
and point it at a network device and ask it nicely to find some\nnovel new
zerodays. but that doesn't scale and will likely give subpar results. wha
t if we\nwant to hack 20 devices in parallel? how do we compete with the b
ig dogs who have access to Mythos?\nhow you do keep track of findings/usef
ul nuggets of information? how do we sandbox our agents?\nhow do we (atte
mpt to) minimize our operational cost? and why the hell was a 3d printer u
sed\nextensively during this research?!\n\nThese and many more questions w
ill be answered during the talk.\n\nIt doesn't matter whether you enjoy (e
mbedded) security research\, LLM hypetrains\, building things\nor just bre
aking things\; there's something for everyone in this talk!
