PyBeach 2025 is a 1-day, single-track conference to be held in Santa Monica, California on September 27, 2025.

We are looking for any talks that are of interest to other Python users. Topics might include (but are in no way limited to):

• Web Development
• VFX/Film Production Pipelines
• Data Science/Machine Learning/AI
• Scientific/Research Computing
• DevOps/SRE
• Testing and Reliability
• Open Source/Community Management topics
• Cool hobby projects

Our event is primarily targeted to community members in the Los Angeles and broader Southern California area. Anyone is welcome to submit a talk, but note that all talks must be presented in-person at the event.

Talks will be 25 minutes in length (with no in-session Q/A). 1 complimentary ticket will be provided per presenter (up to 2 presenters per talk). Financial assistance for presenter travel and lodging will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Key Dates

• CFP opens: May 24th, 2025
• CFP closes: June 30th, 2025
• Accepted presenters notified: July 31st, 2025
• Program finalized & confirmations due from presenters: August 15th, 2025
• Conference: September 27, 2025
