PyBeach 2026 Call for Proposals
PyBeach 2026 is a 1-day, single-track conference to be held in Santa Monica, California on Saturday, October 24, 2026.
We are looking for any talks that are of interest to other Python users. Topics might include (but are in no way limited to):
- Web Development
- VFX/Film Production Pipelines
- Scientific/Research Computing
- Ethics in Development Practices
- Python in the Arts/Humanities
- DevOps/SRE/Testing
- Data Science/Machine Learning/AI
- Open Source/Community Management topics
- Cool Hobby Projects
Our event is primarily targeted to community members in the Los Angeles and broader Southern California area. Anyone is welcome to submit a talk, but note that all talks must be presented in-person at the event.
Talks will be 25 minutes in length (with no in-session Q/A). One complimentary ticket will be provided per presenter (up to 2 presenters per talk). Financial assistance for presenter travel and lodging will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

- Program finalized & confirmations due from presenters: August 23rd, 2026
- Conference: October 24th, 2026
