PyConES 2026 Barcelona, November 6, 7 and 8th

Welcome to PyConES, the most important national Python conference in Spain! 🐍

We are looking forward to seeing you again. Whether you use Python professionally or as a hobby, or if you are just excited about programming and open source communities, we would love to know more about you.

The conference will be held in person in Barcelona, at the facilities of the University of Barcelona.

About your proposal

Before submitting a proposal, be sure to read the general recommendations included in the text of the Call for Proposals itself. It is important that you do not include any personal information that could identify you in the abstract so we can anonymously review talks and avoid any biases.

Terms of participation

The people selected as speakers will have their tickets guaranteed and covered by the organization. Important: if co-speakers are added after the Call for Proposals has closed, only those speakers who were added previously will have their expenses covered.

Regarding the cost of traveling and staying in Barcelona, the organization will be following the same criteria applied for the rest of the attendees within the grants and financial support program. Every effort will be made to have you at the conference as a speaker but, at the present time, it is not possible to ensure 100% coverage of those expenses.

Code of Conduct

All persons participating in the conference, both speakers and attendees, must be familiar with and adhere to the code of conduct of the conference. Be sure to read it before submitting your proposal.
