PyCon UK 2023

Create artwork with Python Turtle & EduBlocks
09-23, 09:00–10:00 (Europe/London), Lower Hall East

Let's get creative using the Turtle library and EduBlocks, a block-based tool for Python!

In this session, we'll be getting creative with the Turtle library in Python to create our own artwork! Best of all, you don't need to know anything about Python or Turtle. We'll be using EduBlocks, a free drag-and-drop tool just like Scratch but designed for making it easy to get started with Python.

We'll start by getting to know the basics of Python, Turtle and EduBlocks and use what we've learnt to create our own unique project. Then, we'll end the session with a showcase of participants' creations.

Is your proposal suitable for beginners? – yes
