PyCon US 2025
Welcome to PyCon US 2025 Call for Proposals
We are very excited to welcome everyone back to Pittsburgh, PA for PyCon US 2025! If you use Python professionally, as a hobbyist, or are just excited about Python or programming and open source communities, we’d love to hear from you.
Before submitting your proposal, be sure to read through all the guidelines for each track type here, https://us.pycon.org/2025/speaking/guidelines/.
Please note that this year, there is a limit to 2 speakers per Tutorial, Charlas, Poster and Talk proposal. There is also a limit of 3 proposal submissions per person. Being listed as a co-speaker will count as a proposal submission. If more than 3 proposals are submitted, the review committees will not review any of your submissions.
Please note that Pretalx accounts used for PyCon US 2024 will not be carried over; all submitters will be required to create a new account for 2025.
Be sure to read through the help text to be sure you provide proper information. It is important to not include any identifying information in the outline, format, or description of your proposal.
All speakers will be presenting their topics in person this year at the David L. Lawrence Convention Center in Pittsburgh, PA.
Travel grants will be available to speakers, so please don’t let that be a deterrent. We want you and your ideas at PyCon US!
PyCon US continues to keep the safety of our community as our top priority and wants PyCon US to be an event that everyone feels safe attending. Please be sure to read the PyCon US 2025 Health and Safety Guidelines before submitting your proposal.
All speakers are expected to have read and adhere to the conference Code of Conduct.
