 \, and over 40% cannot afford a nutritious diet. Enhance is a data platfor
 m that helps change that - by computing the cheapest\, most nutritious\, a
 nd most environmentally sustainable diets at national scale.\n\nIn this ta
 lk\, we explore how the UN World Food Programme uses Enhance (a Python & A
 WS-based data platform)\, optimization and data science to support governm
 ents in making evidence-based food policy decisions. By modeling trade-off
 s between costs\, nutrition (including micronutrient deficiencies such as 
 iron and calcium)\, and environmental impact (CO₂ and water usage)\, Enh
 ance enables policymakers to evaluate interventions such as subsidies\, im
 ports\, crop replacements\, and food fortification.\n\nIn this talk\, we w
 ill showcase real-world applications of Enhance - already used in countrie
 s like Cambodia\, Colombia and Chad - how Enhance-supports analyses contri
 butes to agricultural policy decisions and helps improve access to more nu
 tritious diets at scale for people across the globe.\n\nAttendees will lea
