MkDocs is a really simple tool to quickly create a static web site. I use it to quickly create web pages from basic markdown files.
Recently I have also used Material for MkDocs to create a new version of my personal web page and it has been a really easy.
If you do not have much time, MkDocs is a nice solution to quickly publish some web content.

I use Sphinx for a long time as I like reStructuredText. My technical notes (240 pages) are written in reStructuredText.
I like to use MkDocs to quickly gather and publish some Markdown content that I may need to share as most people use Markdown. I am not a Markdown fan but MkDocs is simple to understand, to start with and to use.
For the technical notes, I use Read the Docs theme. I recently dive into Material for MkDocs to recreate my personal web pages.
I use Quarto to create slides.
