The Listener API is one of the "superpowers" of the Robot Framework.
This talk will introduce you to the theory and practice of the Listener API v2 and v3.
Pekka will explain in theory what the Listener API is and how you can use it to extend Robot Framework or connect to your systems.
In the second part, Mikko, Daniel and René will give you some practical examples of what is possible and why some extensions use the Listener API.

René Rohner is a Senior Consultant for Testing Systems, Product Owner of the Value Stream Test Automation at imbus in Germany and Chairman of the board of Robot Framework Foundation.
He is member of the Core Team of Robot Framework Browser and developer of Robot Framework DataDriver. He is trainer and coach for Keyword-Driven Testing in multiple small and huge projects in Germany.
Pekka Klärck is a tester, developer and independent consultant from Finland with experience from testing and test automation since 2000. He is the lead developer of Robot Framework and thus knows the framework and the ecosystem around it extremely well.
Mikko is a developer and consultant that works with client organisations in various industries and Vice-Chairman of the board of Robot Framework Foundation.
He is also active in Robot Framework community and has participated in development of tools such as Robot Framework, Robot Framework Browser and Pabot.
Daniel is a Senior Developer, open-source enthusiast, pro in many languages and testing tools working at imbus AG in Germany.
He is the developer of RobotCode, a Robot Framework extension for VSCode.
