DESCRIPTION:Existing psychological models often focus narrowly on individua
l mechanisms\, such as motivation and cognition\, or broader societal fact
ors\, such as culture and ideology\, without integrating these perspective
 s. My PhD project seeks to address this gap by developing a comprehensive
model of pro-environmental behavior using Doise’s (1982) levels of analy
sis. This approach combines internal psychological processes with social a
nd cultural factors to better predict behavior.\n\nKey challenges include
identifying relevant models\, isolating variables\, integrating them\, and
ensuring robust statistical power. In this communication\, we evaluate th
e strengths and limitations of various review methodologies\, such as rapi
 d reviews\, systematic reviews\, umbrella reviews\, and scoping reviews (e
 .g.\, Grant et al.\, 2009). We highlight the PRISMA-S method (Rethlefsen e
t al.\, 2021)\, which ensures transparent and rigorous reporting of articl
e selection. Finally\, we explore data extraction and its application thro
ugh structural equation modeling (e.g.\, Dash & Paul\, 2021) to synthesize
  variables.
