DESCRIPTION:We at the Leibniz Institute for Psychology (ZPID)\, an open sci
 ence institute for psychology in Germany\, are revising our preregistratio
 n platform "PreReg". To tailor it even more closely to the needs of the ps
 ychological research community\, we want to involve the community in all s
 teps of the development process. We have already conducted a survey to fin
 d out which features are considered important\, and we are currently worki
 ng on a prototype that we want to scrutinize together with the hackathon p
 articipants. Specifically\, we want to conduct a joint test of the platfor
 m to collect issues and ideas for improvements. Additionally\, we want to 
 consider with the participants which metadata preregistrations should cont
 ain to ensure they fulfill the FAIR principles.\n\nWith our hackathon\, we
  want to allow participants to help shape our preregistration platform dir
 ectly. To recognize the participants’ contributions\, we will thank ever
 yone on the "PreReg" website.
