DESCRIPTION:Pre-registration and Registered Reports can help diagnose the v
erifiability of science. However\, they cannot inform about when or why re
search deviated from the intended plan. Moreover\, questionable research p
ractices (QRPs) will prevail throughout any research process —even compl
etely honest researchers will make mistakes.\n\nRadical Transparency (RT)
is the practice of not only making public research outcomes (research plan
s\, protocols\, code\, data\, results) but also the whole process of devel
oping them\, in a “collaborative open-source-like” fashion. While RT m
ay help improve the openness and transparency of science\, many questions
remain about what it really means and how we can implement it:\n\nWhat is
(not) RT?\n\nCan RT actually be achieved? How\, if so?\n\nIs it worth purs
uing RT?\n\nHow do current/future technologies afford the requirements of
RT?\n\nWhat are the uses (and misuses) of RT?\n\nThis unconference intends
  to address unknowns like these.
