DESCRIPTION:This curriculum was designed for a clinical doctoral (PsyD) pro
gram dissertation requiring a single empirical study adhering to standards
of Open Science and IRB mandates. As such\, the curriculum guides student
s to produce journal-submission-ready articles that follow JARS for the sp
ecific type of project and adhere to APA style. \n As the goal is to d
evelop a single empirical study (rather than to develop a program of resea
rch with multiple studies as is often found in PhD dissertations)\, final
documents have a maximum page limit of 35 pages\, inclusive of everything.
\n The described curriculum includes a detailed sequence of JARS-insp
ired steps/tasks that spans two calendar years starting with the 2nd year
of a 4-year\, on-campus residency (before internship). This sequence is pa
rtitioned into four semesters of seminars with a Proposal and Defense midw
ay and a Final Manuscript and Defense before students begin their 4th year
