DESCRIPTION:This project examines the use of vignette-based methods in stud
 ies of moral judgment and reasoning across adolescence. We conducted a sco
 ping review of empirical articles published between 2000 and 2025 that (1)
  investigated moral judgment or moral reasoning\, (2) included participant
 s aged 13 to 25 years\, and (3) used written vignettes as stimuli. This re
 view consisted of a systematic search\, screening\, data extraction\, and 
 author outreach. Metadata extraction is currently underway and includes sa
 mple characteristics\, moral domains and variables assessed\, and detailed
  information about the vignettes themselves. Analyses will assess the freq
 uency of specific populations and variables studied. A beta version of an 
 open-access database will be created to summarize study information\, and\
 , when available\, archive research stimuli. We aim to advance moral devel
 opment research by improving methodological transparency\, identifying sub
 stantive and methodological gaps in existing approaches\, and facilitating
  more inclusive and replicable research.
