DESCRIPTION:The scientific community has faced a crisis of confidence in th
 e quality of research. This structural distrust has extended to trainees\,
  who\, despite not facing the same pressures as later-stage academics\, re
 main susceptible to questionable research practices (QRPs). However\, no m
 easure exists that seeks to evaluate how and why trainees engage in QRPs. 
 To do so\, we created a situational judgment task-based measure that simul
 ated the pressure students face to engage in QRPs\, such as HARKing\, P-ha
 cking\, and false authorship\, as well as open science practices\, includi
 ng preregistrations and making data open. Following the collection of open
 -ended responses\, categorical responses were created to capture the gamut
  of potential responses to a scenario. Collecting categorical data\, we pe
 rformed multidimensional scaling and a Plackett-Luce model to evaluate the
  relationships between response options.
