Learn how to shoot with your (grand-)parents cameras!
In this workshop you'll first learn the basics on how to use your analog camera. After this intro you can practice and shoot your pictures on black and white film during the day. In the evening we come together again and learn developing your film. After it is dried, we can also scan it so you have a digital copy as well.
This workshop is an introduction into the world of film or analog photography for beginners and/or those who want to learn to develop their own film. You can bring your (or your parents, or grandparents) camera and we teach you how to use it. Also you are entering into a raffle for one Valoi easy35 scanning setup by participating!
If you don't have access to an analog camera, we can loan you one for the day. To take part you also get one roll of black and white film with the cost of the workshop.
In this workshop you will first learn some basic photography theory, how cameras and film works and some tips on shooting intersting pictures. During the day you are free to roam and shoot you pictures on the film provided.
In the second part you will learn how to develop your own film and get to finally see how your pictures turned out!
At the end, after your film has dried, there is an option to scan your film so you have something to share on social media :)
Form all the participants during the meetup there will be one lucky winner who will get to receive one of the Valoi scanning setups we are using at the workshop! I will contact you after the meetup if you are the winner!
This workshop is sponsored by Valoi and fotoimpex. Valoi graciously provided the scanning setup at the workshop and the raffle, and fotoimpex sponsored the chamicals for the film development. This way I could keep the costs more affordable.
I will take some pictures to share on social media (both mine and the sponsors) from this workshop, if you are uncomfortable with that, please get in touch with me at the start of the workshop.
