DESCRIPTION:Saloum Islands are situated in the South west of Senegal\, near
  the coastline. These fishing communities have been suffering from the eff
 ect of climate change\; especially women who are at the heart of the activ
 ities in the community. Through a community centered approach\, the West a
 nd Northern Africa Hub and OSM Senegal have created a partnership with REF
 EPAS (Senegalese Network of Artisanal Fishing Women)\, to develop solution
 s using open mapping. This presentation will talk about the journey of thi
 s project with women from Saloum Islands.
