Version 0.2.0 Aug. 8, 2025
We released a new schedule version! Three separate sessions have been merged into a panel, and we're starting a bit earlier on Friday. Some sessions also had to be moved around for organizational reasons. Please note that this is still a draft, we will likely have to move around some more sessions (between time slots and rooms), but it should already give a good insight into what to expect from SotM 2025. Also note that OSM Science, which is currently planned to take place on Friday, has a separate schedule, so those sessions are not included here.
We have a new session: “How we got here: three mapper stories” by Walter Mayeku, Bayazid Ahmed, KASOZI DENIS, Prativa Thapa.
Sadly, we had to cancel sessions:
- “Navigating the World Through OpenStreetMap: The Story of Bayazid Ahmed” by Bayazid Ahmed
- “Women Who Map: My Mission to Build Inclusive Mapping Communities in Nepal” by Prativa Thapa
- “Mapping My Way Forward: How OSM and YouthMappers Launched My Career in Geospatial Tech.” by KASOZI DENIS
