Kiran Ahire

Kiran Ahire is the Community Manager for Asia Pacific at TomTom, working at the intersection of technology, mapping, and community building. In this role, she collaborates with OpenStreetMap communities across the region, fostering engagement through mapathons, challenges, trainings, workshops, and events. Focused on empowering mappers, NGOs, universities, and grassroots groups, Kiran has helped bring new contributors into OSM while strengthening the skills and impact of existing communities. Passionate about inclusivity and accessibility, she highlights how open data can support mobility, disaster resilience, and sustainable development.
