DESCRIPTION:As main developer of MapComplete\, I do think a lot about how p
eople edit OpenStreetMap and how those edits relate to the rest of the dat
a and the rest of the ecosystem.\nAt the same time\, there are many OSM-ed
itors out there. While this choice might be a bit confusing for new contri
butors\, the OSM ecosystem thrives by having multiple editors.\n\nIn this
talk\, I would like to zoom out and give different frameworks and perspect
ives on how to think about editing software\; and how editors relate to ea
ch other - they often complement each other.\n\nSome questions I'll answer
are:\n\n- how can we compare editors?\n- What makes an editor a good edit
or? What makes it a powerful editor?\n- How do editors relate to the data
they edit?\n- What will the future bring?
