DESCRIPTION:It has been more than a decade since OpenHistoricalMap was last
  presented at State of the Map. In that time\, the project has grown into 
 a major platform for mapping the history of the world: cities as they evol
 ve\, infrastructure that no longer exists\, changing landscapes\, shifting
  borders\, and many other layers of time. We are collecting it together in
  one place\, as open data\, in a spirit of cooperation.\n\nIn this talk we
  want to share where OpenHistoricalMap is today: what has been mapped so f
 ar\, how people contribute\, the tools that make historical mapping possib
 le\, and the projects that are building on top of OpenHistoricalMap data. 
 We will go through real examples of historical mapping happening around th
 e world\, the workflows mappers are using and showcases\, and the changes 
 we made to the editors and tooling so they work for OHM and not only OSM.\
 n\nWe close with where the project is going next\, how new contributors ca
 n get involved\, and how the wider OSM community can support historical ma
 pping going forward.
