DESCRIPTION:CoMaps started in May 2025 as a fork of Organic Maps\, with the
  goal of providing digital maps and navigation tools that are 100% open so
 urce and transparently made by and for community. Since then\, the communi
 ty has shipped ~2 updated app versions per month. Among other things\, tho
 se have improved core features\, made the app more international\, expande
 d the integration with the OSM ecosystem and reduced the existence of sing
 le points of failures in the provisioning of the app. Here\, we share some
