This sharing is about my personal experience trying to understand the data from Wikidata. Wikidata is an amazing data source where I can find any kind of data about any topic from anywhere. However, it's really hard to understand the meaning of the data that I found for my research. I will share some examples of what I liked to learn from Wikidata and how I failed in the session.

With Wikidata Query Builder, I could easily find all the data with "instance of" something and other conditions from Wikidata. However, when I tried to list all cities (Q515) around the world, the result has so many different kinds of human settlements, some of them were not even close to a city in my comprehension, which was not the result as I expected. How to understand properly to the result items in Wikidata? I always try to figure it out.

藉由維基數據查詢服務建立工具我可以輕易的藉由 “instance of” 以及其他的搜尋限制來快速尋得我所想要的資料。然而，當我希望列出全球所有的城市 (Q515) 時，搜尋結果中卻混雜了各式各樣的人類居住點，其中部分在我的理解中與城市的定義相去甚遠，不用說這些並不是我預期中希望的結果。到底該如何正確的識讀並理解維基數據的搜尋結果？這是我長期以來希望釐清的事。
