Last year I have also started serious work on XR/VR with a colleague at Washington State University, Dene Grigar, based on a quarter of a million dollar Sloan Foundation Grant.

This year I have started serious investigations into AI to augment, not replace thought.
My mentor was Doug Engelbart and my passion for polishing the user experience runs deep. My PhD in computer science is from the University of Southampton and my Masters in HCI with Ergonomics is from University College London.
I would be very happy to present my perspective of experience design next year.
Focused on the Future of Text and as such design and produce Author and Reader for macOS, host the annual Future of Text Symposium for over a decade, publish The Future of Text series of books. Current work focuses on augmenting intelligence in XR and with AI.
