This hands-on group workshop equips UX professionals with strategies to promote sustainable user behaviour in digital products. Concrete best practice examples, experiences and learnings from our Deutsche Telekom “Green Pioneers” and “Green Code” initiatives will be shared and discussed, e. g. a CI/CD energy dashboard.
Participants will learn to design eco-friendly features that help reduce digital carbon footprints. Methods like gamification, feedback loops and others will be discussed in terms of ethics and effectiveness.
By the end of the workshop, participants will have gained valuable tools to integrate sustainable UX design practices into their projects and companies and to encourage users toward long-term eco-conscious behaviour without compromising their free will.
