In my presentation, I’ll share my journey of building a UX Department from scratch in an environment where UX was misunderstood as merely creating social media posts. As the organization transitioned from a waterfall mindset to agility, I faced challenges such as raising awareness about UX, hiring and structuring the right team, establishing workflows, managing hybrid teams, and localizing global design systems for a non-Western culture.
This five-year journey transformed a skeptical organization into one with a thriving UX culture. Attendees will gain insights into navigating similar challenges, scaling UX in enterprises, and driving meaningful change in organizations undergoing digital transformation.
