Proposal: Masterclass on User Testing AI with the Wizard of Oz Method
This masterclass will explore the Wizard of Oz (WOz) method for user testing AI-based applications. WOz allows evaluating hypothetical systems by simulating their behavior with human or automated operators. Participants will learn how to design and conduct WOz studies, focusing on simulating realistic user interactions and addressing challenges like response times. This hands-on session will cover various WOz techniques, including human-in-the-loop and automated simulations, enabling attendees to effectively test AI concepts before development.
