Elena Strempek
Elena Strempek arbeitet als Performancekünstlerin und Kulturvermittlerin an der Schnittstelle zwischen Künstlerischer Forschung, Bildender Kunst und Darstellender Kunst. Sie wurde 1987 in Berlin geboren, studierte u.a. "Critical and Pedagogical Studies" an der Malmo Art Academy in Schweden und lebt aktuell in Leipzig.
Elena Strempek is an artist, educator and cultural programmer working across the disciplines of artistic research, fine arts and theatre. She holds a M.F.A. in "Critical and Pedagogical Studies" from Malmo Art Academy, Sweden and is currently based in Leipzig, Germany.

Welche Rolle spielt Kunst in gesellschaftlichen Transformationsprozessen, bei der Entwicklung von Utopien und von Strategien des Widerstands? Gemeinsam mit international agierenden Künstler*innen erörtern wir Herausforderungen für die künstlerische Praxis im aktuellen gesellschaftlichen Kontext sowie antirassistische, dekoloniale und antipatriachiale Strategien des Schaffens. Kurze performativen Interventionen bzw. Lecture Performances schaffen gemeinsame sinnliche Erfahrungen und strukturieren das Podium.
