"The Futurological Congress - Divergent Organisation for Hierarchical Labour" is a Live Action Role Play where you play the role of academics, or “Futurologists”, at a giant conference who are all meeting to suggest radical solutions to solve the world’s problems whilst the world outside is in turmoil. Partly based upon the satirical science fiction novel by the Polish Author Stanislaw Lem and using the card game DOHL as a form of quick character generation this game is a way of imagining a future that isn’t so far away from our current reality.
Der futurologische Kongress - Virtuelles Live Rollenspiel
Der "Futurological Congress DOHL LARP" ist ein Live-Action-Role-Play, bei dem ihr die Rolle von Zukunftsforscher*innen auf einer riesigen Konferenz spielt, die zusammenkommen, um radikale Lösungen für die Probleme der Welt vorzuschlagen, während die Welt draußen in Aufruhr ist. Dieses Spiel basiert zum Teil auf dem satirischen Science-Fiction-Roman des polnischen Autors Stanislaw Lem und verwendet das Kartenspiel DOHL als eine Form der schnellen Charaktergenerierung, um sich eine Zukunft vorzustellen, die gar nicht so weit von unserer heutigen Realität entfernt ist.

Francis Patrick Brady is an artist living and working in Malmö, Copenhagen and London. He graduated from Konsthögskola Malmö in 2017. He is currently in residence at InterArtsCentre (SE) and Art Hub (DK). He is co-founder and organiser of ‘Celsius Projects’, Malmö. He is also organiser of the art collective ‘Union Group’ who have a focus on Roleplay, VR, consent safety, and immersive practices.
