Sovereignty isn't just about security—it's about not trusting third parties. Today, this setup is the most sovereign in the industry, period. Decentralized software. Decentralized hardware. Secure element protection for your keys. BlueWallet integration makes it practical enough to use without a computer, creating the ultimate Swiss bank. Not just one account—you can create an indefinite number of Satochip cards, giving you infinite bank accounts in a Swiss bank. No one else can do this for $100. No one can access it—only you. That's the ultimate security. Join this hands-on workshop to build it yourself. English with Spanish support. Laptops encouraged (any OS). Register at https://esixce.github.io/seedsigner-satochip-workshop to download files. First 10 receive free kits. Can't make it on schedule? Find me outside and we'll build on your time.
In this hands-on workshop, participants will learn how to build and configure their own low-cost Bitcoin hardware wallets using a SeedSigner device with a Satochip smart card. The session will be conducted primarily in English, but we support Spanish-speaking developers.
The session progresses in three stages: (1) Building & Setting Up the SeedSigner—assemble using off-the-shelf parts (Raspberry Pi Zero, camera, screen) and install software to create a stateless signing device. (2) Adding the Card Reader Accessory—connect and configure the smart card reader for communication with secure elements, learning how card-based storage enhances resilience and portability. (3) Configuring the Satochip Card—initialize and personalize the Satochip smart card for private key storage, pair with SeedSigner to create a hybrid wallet combining stateless signing with tamper-resistant hardware, and practice essential workflows for backup, signing, and recovery. You'll also learn how SeedSigner works with BlueWallet—creating transactions on your phone, signing them securely with SeedSigner via QR codes, and keeping your seed protected in the Satochip's secure element. This creates a complete self-custody solution that operates without requiring a computer for daily use.
Requirements: Everyone is welcome to participate! If you'd like to secure a free SeedSigner builder kit, register here: https://esixce.github.io/seedsigner-satochip-workshop and download files for your path. The first 10 registrations will receive free kits. Shared devices available for everyone, and if you already own a SeedSigner, we'll have accessories and cards available to participate fully. Laptops encouraged (any OS). If you can't make it on schedule, find me outside and we can build on your time.
