Attendees will learn how to use a new and free online application, which they can implement in their human rights work. Attendees will observe how to use the tool in the workshop, will help them to strategically plan for their advocacy campaign by creating a problem statement, building a vision statement, and mapping of relationships surrounding human rights issues. The intent of the workshop is to provide attendees with tools to assist them in the future planning and organizing of strategic human rights actions.

سيكون لدى المشاركين خيار إنشاء حسابات خاصة بهم من أجل الوصول إلى الأداة عبر الإنترنت. يتيح ذلك للحاضرين إمكانية التواصل مع بعضهم البعض بعد الجلسة، والوصول إلى الأداة والمعلومات التي طوّروها خلال الورشة على حدّ سواء.
سيتم تزويد الحضور بدراسة حالة عن حقوق الإنسان، وسيعملون من خلالها مع المتحدث للإجابة على الأسئلة الداخلية لتطوير بيان المشكلة وبيان الرؤية، والبدء في تطوير خريطة اتصالات ومخطط لدراسة الحالة.
سيتكلّم المتحدثون باللغتَين الإنكليزية والعربية، كما جرى تصميم الأداة باللغتين الإنكليزية والعربية.
• Introduce Center for Victims of Torture CVT and New Tactics program.
• Introduce the Tactical Mapping Tool TMT as a new online web application.
Attendees will have the option of creating their own user accounts in order to gain access to the online tool. This allows them to be able to make connections with each other after the session, have access to the information they developed during the workshop after the conference, and have access to the tool for their own advocacy.
Attendees will be provided with a human rights case study (Nujood) from which they will work with the speaker to answer the inboarding questions to develop a problem statement, and vision statement and to begin developing a connections map and spectrum of allies diagram from the case study (Nujood).
Speakers will include English, and Arabic, while the tool is built in both English and Arabic.
Ayman Malhis New Tactics MENA Digital Media Coordinator is responsible for overseeing the program’s online presence in Arabic, including the website, social media channels, online community, and e-learning course. responsible for developing The Tactical Mapping Tool (TMT) which is a tool that visualizes human relationships surrounding complex problems.
