This session will showcase research and cooperation opportunities available with Internet Society's Pulse platform. The platform consolidates trusted Internet measurement data from various sources into a single platform. We use the data to examine Internet trends and tell data-driven stories so that policymakers, researchers, journalists, network operators, civil society groups and others can better understand the health, availability and evolution of the Internet.
We will showcase available opportunities for cooperation with Internet Society Pulse targeting people interested in using data to tell stories and build convincing arguments for policy debate, and for journalists to connect the dots between internet measurements and its impact on the community and economy.

"سوف نستعرض فرص التعاون المتاحة مع منصّة Internet Society Pulse، التي تستهدف الأشخاص المهتمّين باستخدام البيانات لسرد قصصهم وبناء حجج مقنعة في النقاشات السياساتية، وكذلك الصحافيين الراغبين في إيجاد روابط بين مختلف المقاييس على الإنترنت ورصد أثرها على المجتمع والاقتصاد.
تجمع المنصّة بيانات موثوقة حول مقاييس الإنترنت من مصادر مختلفة ضمن منصّة موحّدة، وتستخدم هذه البيانات للتمعُّن في اتجاهات الإنترنت وسرد قصص قائم على البيانات لتمكين صانعي السياسات والباحثين والصحافيين ومشغّلي الشبكة ومجموعات المجتمع المدني وغيرهم من فهم صحّة الإنترنت ومدى توافره وتطوّره بشكل أفضل.
تبدأ الجلسة بلمحة عامة عن المنصّة التي توفّر بيانات حول عمليات قطع الإنترنت، والتقنيات التمكينية، ومرونة الإنترنت، وتركُّز الإنترنت، ثم تُناقش فرص التعاون المتوفرة وكيف يمكن للباحثين والطلاب والمجتمع المدني والصحافيين وصانعي السياسات اغتنامها.
Hanna works with the Internet community in the Middle East and North Africa following a long journey of active promotion of the Internet and digital rights at the regional and international levels with experience in training designing and delivering for over 15 years in regions from Asia to North America, with a special focus on the Middle East.
Hanna is driven by a belief in the need of a usable, meaningful, and open Internet as a tool for social change towards a universe of people with equal opportunities to all. This belief led him through years of working and participating in multiple Internet forums and to take part in projects to enhance Internet access, including establishing Palestine Internet Exchange Point.
