This talk will cover many aspects of designing and debugging a multi core linux capable SoC by introducing the developpement history of the following open source tools :

  • SpinalHDL : A Scala hardware description API
  • VexRiscv : A RISC-V softcore
  • SaxonSoc : A framework to integrate SoC components together
