Open-sourcing Ansible Lightspeed - Automating your automation code
James Wong, Kirill Gaevskii

Infrastructure as Code (IaC) plays a critical role in effectively managing systems, whether it's the configuration of a single laptop or the orchestration of cloud assets. Ansible Playbooks provide an intuitive approach: simply declare the desired state of your systems in a YAML file, and Ansible takes care of the rest. However, users often face the challenge of recalling the appropriate Ansible modules to accomplish their tasks.

Now, with Ansible Lightspeed, this process is streamlined even further. By articulating your intentions in natural language, Lightspeed - a generative AI-based service autonomously generates the necessary code. Rooted in the collaborative ethos of the Ansible community, Ansible Lightspeed has been released as an open-source tool, Ansible AI Connect Service to empower users with unprecedented simplicity and efficiency.

Join our community project to harness its power and contribute to its growth. In this session, we'll show you how to maximize its benefits and to get involved
