A series of unfortunate (Ansible) events
06-13, 10:15–10:50 (Europe/Prague), E104 (capacity 72)

Driving automation with events can be crucial to reduce time to action and react to issues and anomalies in an efficient way. Vendors from all industries are providing their own connectors and plugins to start integrating events from products and platforms to integrate with Event-driven Ansible.
During this session you will learn more about Event-driven automation and you will see it in action in 3 different use cases to see how it is possible to integrate the Event-driven capabilities of Red Hat Ansible Automation Platform with monitoring systems, ITSM services and hypervisors to:

  • Provision a VM on Openshift Virtualization
  • Proactively patch it with Red Hat Insights integration
  • Configure monitoring with Dynatrace
  • React to anomalies with automatic ITSM incident creation and resolution leveraging Alertmanager integration
