In this workshop you will use how to set up a python data analysis environment using containers managed by Podman. Once we have built our safe and repeatable python environment we will learn how to do data analysis using Jupyter Notebooks and pandas, an easy to use open source data analysis and manipulation tool. In this workshop you will learn how to do the following analysis:
Visualize your data
Describe your data
Find trends in data using linear regression
You will need a laptop of some type that can install podman and run commands from your terminal. If you can please install podman before the session - instructions here - https://podman.io/docs/installation. After this workshop you will understand how you can take advantage of containers and the power of pandas.

Neil studied Computer Science at the University of Toronto and has over 20 years' experience in Technology. He currently is a Senior Manager at Red Hat managing the Container Tools team, he loves working with technology and using data to help teams improve.
