Beyond CI/CD: How GitHub Workflows Became Our Developer Experience Platform
05.09.2026 , Europasaal B

Every team starts with a CI pipeline — we turned ours into a full Developer Experience platform. In three pillars, I show how GitHub Workflows transformed our daily work: automated task management, CI/CD with preview environments across multiple environments, and AI-powered code reviews combined with deterministic code generation from OpenAPI specs and Figma tokens.

Every team starts with a CI pipeline. Ours evolved into a full Developer Experience platform. This talk shows how we leverage GitHub Actions across three areas:

  1. Task Management — automated ticket assignment and issue templates for consistent structure.

  2. CI/CD & Deployments — selective testing with Nx, parallelized jobs for speed, automatic PR preview environments, and cleanly separated deployments across multiple environments.

  3. AI & Deterministic Code Generation — AI-powered code reviews for instant feedback, plus automatic API client generation from OpenAPI specs and Figma design token synchronization.

Concrete workflows and lessons learned included.
