In building a successful community and open-source projects, effective teamwork is essential. This talk will focus on strategies for building effective teams in the Django community, with a focus on collaboration and communication. We will explore common challenges faced by teams in open-source development, and discuss strategies for addressing these challenges. The talk will draw on real-world examples from the speaker's experience building the Django community in Abia, Nigeria. Attendees will learn practical techniques for effective communication, project management, and team building, and leave with a better understanding of how to foster effective teamwork in their own projects and communities.
