A FOSS4G event is organised by and for makers and users of open‑source GIS applications. It’s the place where we showcase what’s possible with free and open software, where we inspire each other, and where new ideas take shape.
Are you a maker of a tool, plugin, workflow, or dataset? Then this is your stage to show what’s possible. From clever scripts to surprising visualizations.
Are you a user? You likely have an application, project, or insight that can help others. Think of real‑world examples from policy and practice, such as:
- policy applications for climate adaptation, water management, or nature monitoring
- analyses for spatial planning, mobility, energy transition, or public safety
- innovative workflows for participation, data sharing, open standards, or digital twins
- the transition toward digitally sovereign software and data infrastructures
…but smaller practical examples, creative hacks, or unexpected workflows are just as welcome!
In addition to presentations and workshops, we also welcome round‑table proposals: sessions that bring people together around a shared theme or challenge for open discussion.
Let us know what you would like to contribute. We look forward to receiving your proposal for a presentation, workshop, or round‑table discussion!
