Using and finding (open) Agricultural Field Boundary in different geographic areas has been a hassle for a long time. The source data is scattered; hidden in different portals, formats, projections. In 2024 the open source Fiboa project (supported by Taylor Geospatial) started to publish source meta data, converter logic (code) and a source.coop directory with field boundary data converted to a single cloud-native format. More recently, we've been trying to extend the data with a harmonized Crop Classification. In this presentation I’d like to present the relevance of field boundaries, the target specification and the published data & code.
