The Impromptu Poetry Slam, provide space for you to reflect on your experiences at MozFest. The session will guide you though poetry making through the use of prompts. You can optionally perform or submit your own creations to the Common Voice Sentence Collector. Common Voice is an iniative to make voice technology better understand langauges and accents.
The goal of the session is to inspire creative reflection but also help to produce sentences for the common voice project.
Why did you choose that space? How does your session align with the space description?:Mozone, is a good space for this as it allows for people to tie in all of there experinces of Mozfest but also as one of the aims are for Mozilla's Common Voice, the session fits perfectly.
How will you deal with varying numbers of participants in your session? What if 30 participants attend? What if there are 3?:I would provide attendees, as much information as they would need to full participate in the session. Depending on numbers, people can present on what they have seen or publish their experinces if there are too many attendees.
What happens after MozFest? We're hoping that many efforts and discussions will continue after MozFest. Share any ideas you already have for how to continue the work from your session.:I would like to trial out this format for GLAM based engagements next year for Common Voice project.
What language would you like to host your session in?:English, Dutch, Frisian, Bengali, German, Russian, Greek, Portuguese, Spanish, French, Italian, Mandarin, Kiswahili, Cantonese
