MozFest 2022

Turing Coding Challenge
Language: English (mozilla)

Turing in partnership with MozFest is hosting an interactive session on March 9th. Audiences will get a glimpse of the Turing Coding challenge as they join the live coding session with our expert Jose Durand. Durrand is going to break down the myths and processes of attempting a coding challenge using the Turing coding challenge as a template.

There are prizes to be won at the end of the session. Book your slots!

What is the goal and/or outcome of your session?:

We would like to host a coding challenge that will go along with the hackathon. Teams that didn't select for the final round get a chance to show their coding chops.

The goal is to have everyone who is attending get to showcase their talent in anywhere way possible.
Also, we get to meet the top-skilled developer from the ecosystem, take a moment to appreciate them, and be a part of our community!

Why did you choose that space? How does your session align with the space description?:

Coding Challenges are both exciting to the host and the attendees. For participants, it helps them to crack and test their skill-set, even if they are not ready for the product-based hackathons.

It aligns with the event and its theme.

How will you deal with varying numbers of participants in your session? What if 30 participants attend? What if there are 3?:

Coding Challenges can be made with 10000 to 1. With rewards and appreciation, and of course the support of Moz Festival, we will have at least more than 100 participants for the event!

What happens after MozFest? We're hoping that many efforts and discussions will continue after MozFest. Share any ideas you already have for how to continue the work from your session.:

With the partnership with MozFest, this event can be a continuous initiative for the developers. Regular events like this will keep the developer excited to involve more in the community!

What language would you like to host your session in?:

English, Spanish, Portuguese
