Afro Algorithms Panel Discussion
Language: English (mozilla)

Join the cast + creators of the 3D animated short film, “Afro Algorithms”, following its world premiere at the Mozilla Festival. Moderated by superstar AI artist, Stephanie Dinkins, this interactive discussion will explore how Afrofuturism can be used to shift socio-cultural narratives, the art of 3D animation, and how we can use emerging technology such as artificial intelligence to create a future we truly want to see.

About “Afro Algorithms”: In a distant future, an artificial intelligence named Aero is inaugurated as the world’s first AI ruler. But Aero soon learns that important worldviews are missing from her databank, including the experiences of the historically marginalized and oppressed. Learn more at www.afroalgorithms.com.
