PyCon JP 2025
PyCon JP 2025 Call for Proposals
PyCon JP is the largest international Python conference in Japan.
Conference Basic Information
- Event Name: PyCon JP 2025
- Dates: Friday, September 26, 2025 and Saturday, September 27, 2025
- Venue: Hiroshima International Conference Center
Event Theme: “Pieces of Python, Coming Together”
Inspired by the Hiroshima International Conference Center, we take the word “pieces” as our starting point. We aim to create a space where the many “pieces” that support Python—technologies, tools, experiences, and people—can gather, connect with one another, and give rise to new possibilities.

Guidelines for Proposal Submission
Please submit your proposal in accordance with the guidelines below.
1. Adherence to the PyCon JP Code of Conduct
All participants in PyCon JP are required to abide by our Code of Conduct. Even if your content is excellent, any proposal that does not comply with these standards cannot be accepted. Violations include inappropriate references to or slander of specific individuals or organizations. Please read the Code of Conduct carefully before applying.

2. Clear Definition of Your Audience and What They Will Gain
PyCon JP attracts everyone from complete Python beginners to seasoned experts, working across a wide range of fields beyond just web development and data science. We value proposals that clearly align who you’re addressing, what you will teach them, and how you will deliver that content.
3. Genuine Motivation for Your Presentation
Tell us why you want to give this talk. Behind every presentation should be a sincere desire—whether it’s “I want to prevent others from facing the same challenges I encountered,” “I want to help someone,” or “I want to contribute back to the community.” We look for that genuine passion.
4. Relevance to Python
PyCon JP welcomes both light users and heavy users of Python. Today, Python is used by scientists, embedded into spreadsheets, and more. We consider any use of Python to be relevant.
Travel Grant for Participants
For presenters coming from outside the region, we offer travel and accommodation support through our Travel Grant Program. Details will be announced on the blog at a later date. As a reference, please see last year’s Travel Grant post:
