Chaw is a software developer at HENNGE in Japan, focusing on the Identity edition of the HENNGE One product which provides access control solutions. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, hiking, and exploring cafes.

I am an engineer at Columnar Technologies. Previously I worked at Voltron Data (formerly known as Ursa Computing) and Two Sigma Investments. I'm a longtime open source contributor; I have worked on the Apache Arrow project since 2019 and was one of the creators of the ADBC subproject. I am currently a PMC member of the Arrow project.

Diane is a developer at LaunchDarkly. She loves to help beginner programmers get started on creative projects that involve fun pop culture references. In her spare time, she challenges herself to see how much ice-cream and kakigori she can eat in one day.

I'm a senior banking professional who's spent years figuring out how to make tedious financial processes run themselves. I love building Python automation workflows that actually work in the real world - the kind that use cool libraries like LangChain and FastAPI to handle the heavy lifting while you grab coffee. My specialty is taking those painful manual banking tasks that everyone dreads and turning them into smooth, intelligent systems that just work. Neeraj is the co-founder of Vivid Climate, a climate management and accounting platform. He is a polyglot, and over the years he has worked on a variety of full-stack software and data-science applications, as well as computational arts, and likes the challenge of creating new tools and applications, and is an active speaker with talks and tutorials presented at multiple conferences.

Nicholas is a software engineer based in Japan. Originally hailing from Indonesia, he spends his weekends exploring Tokyo's neighborhoods, hiking local mountains, and reading articles about tech, finance, or anything that sparks his curiosity. また、Women Who Code Tokyo や Women in Software Engineering Japan を通じ、女性が技術職で成長・活躍できる機会を広げる活動に取り組んでいる。

I’m a Software engineer and researcher with experience on Backend, GenAI for RAG, Data Processing, and Cloud. I help customers on their digital transformation journey building Proof-of-concept and prototyping applications for Document search and business intelligence.
I’m also an enthusiast exploring AR/VR development with the Unity Engine as a hobby.
I was awarded a MEXT scholarship to study in Japan and got a Master's and Ph.D. in Computer Science at The University of Aizu in Fukushima. I’ve also worked in several companies in Japan and abroad including Dell Inc.
To create more inclusive and accessible solutions for everyone, we need to build opportunities to help more women thrive and excel in technical careers. For over four years, I’ve contributed to this mission by organizing technical and career events through my volunteer work with Women Who Code Tokyo and now as Director at Women in Software Engineering Japan.
Outside work I enjoy traveling, exploring the city's landmarks, tasting new food, and finding great coffee!

名古屋にて大学院生をしながらエンジニアと日本語教師もしている。Pythonには職業訓練で出会い、2023年に初めてPyConに参加し、コミュニティに惚れる。その後、名古屋で鯱.pyというコミュニティを運営中。2024年に引き続き、PyCon mini 東海 2025でも座長を務める。

住宅販売営業を経て2000年に社内SEとしてIT業界に従事。2011年まではJava、PHPがメイン言語だったが、新しい言語に挑戦しようと思い、幾つか学ぶ中でPythonに出会う。Pythonの言語仕様の簡潔さとコミュニティ活動の活発さに惹かれ、現在までメイン言語として活用している。

PyCon JP 2012、PyCon APAC 2013、PyCon JP 2014スタッフ。 Shonan.py、GCPUG Shonan、横浜Rust部などのコミュニティでも活動している。

コロンビア出身のソフトウェアエンジニアで、Python 製 Web フレームワーク FastAPI の作者として世界的に知られている。15 歳の頃、家業の Web サイトを作るため独学でプログラミングを開始し、2018年にFastAPIを発表。Python Developers Survey 2021における調査では、FastAPIが Flask・Djangoに次ぐ 第3位の利用率となり、公開からわずか数年で主要フレームワークの一角に食い込んでいる。現在、BMW、American Express、NASA など多岐にわたる組織で採用されている。2023 年には Sequoia Capital が新設した Open Source Fellowship の初代フェローに選出され、2024 年には FastAPI エコシステムを拡張するスタートアップ FastAPI Labs を創業。

Shiva, originally from Nepal, works as a Software Engineer at Microsoft and currently lives in Bellevue, USA. He has previously presented talks at PyCon-JP and PyCon Lithuania, and posters at PyCon-US and PyCon-AU. He is passionate about software engineering best practices, including writing clean and maintainable code, and building reliable and resilient systems.
